“As a member of the Oakwood Outlaws, I will abide by the published bylaws and safety rules of the organization.   I recognize the inherent dangers of injury and/or death associated with Cowboy Action Shooting and will not handle or discharge firearm(s) in a manner that may be unsafe to others or myself.  I understand the range is a “cold” range and that my firearm(s) must be unloaded at all times unless I am on the firing line and under the supervision of a range officer.  I am aware of the potentially injurious noise level associated with the discharge of firearms and the possibility of being struck by rebounding bullet particles.  I will always wear eye protection both on and off the firing line and insist my guest(s) do likewise.  I understand that ear protection is required at this range.  I shall fully indemnify and hold harmless THE OAKWOOD OUTLAWS, the range owner, RAYMOND SHANK, officers, range officers, and members from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, and expenses, including attorney’s fees of whatever nature, character, or description that any person or entity has or may have arising from or related to any incident resulting from any negligent act, omission, misconduct, or fault of THE OAKWOOD OUTLAWS, its officers, range officers, agents, members, or range owner, RAYMOND SHANK.  This waiver takes effect immediately and will remain in effect indefinitely and cannot be rescinded without the express written consent of the President of the OAKWOOD OUTLAWS.”
