The SASS® Texas State Championship
 
 The
Oakwood Outlaws
is a SASS-affiliated cowboy action
shooting club located in Oakwood, Texas. We were founded in August
2001 by Justa Hand and TX Alline.
We are very proud to announce that SASS has selected our club to host the
2006 SASS Texas State Championship!!! Yea Haw We be hav'n a
JAIL BREAK
again!!

CONGRATULATIONS SHOOTERS!!
We shot a 4-stage
Plainsman event on
Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 10:00am. This is one wild bunch of
shooters. The first place finisher was
Bad Gene Poole.
The
chili cook-off was held after the
match on Thursday, May 4, 2006. The contestants made at least one gallon of chili.
After the judging, everyone ate the vitals. Trophies for the
top finishers were presented at the Saturday night banquet.

The Outlaws hosted the
Handlebar Doc's Shooting School
on May 3rd & 4th, 2006. Shooters learned how to practice, shoot accurately,
shoot fast, stage firearms, think through stages, and mentally prepare.
